RETVRN Inc. respects the privacy of all of our customers, aiming to collect as little information as possible to provide our services. This privacy policy covers all RETVRN Inc. products. None of the data detailed below is ever sold or provided to a third party.
Under COPPA, with consent of parents/guardians for children under the age of 13, RETVRN Inc. collects the minimum data necessary to provide the service of SHIFT and ESCAPE. The extent of this collection includes device identifiers and location data to trigger SHIFT and ESCAPE. For our location triggering services, there is no storage of location data over time, rather only relying on the trigger to facilitate a SHIFT. Not only does this apply to children under 13 with parental consent, but it also applies to every user registering for our service.
At any time, the parent may unenroll the child's device and the data associated with that device can be fully removed by emailing nicholas@retvrn.world.
By creating an account with RETVRN Inc. for parent supervision, you certify that you are at least 13 years of age. Our services are designed for parents or legal guardians over 13 to manage devices associated with children under 13, in compliance with Children's Online Privacy Protection (COPPA) and other applicable laws. Accounts are not intended for direct use by children under 13.
To delete the data associated with an account, please email nicholas@retvrn.world.
This is what "Supervision" means, and what the MDM profile requests:
List Configuration Profiles: Lets RETVRN, Inc. see what configuration profiles (bundles of settings) are installed. This is view-only and cannot make changes.
Add/remove configuration profiles: Allows RETVRN, Inc. to install or remove configuration profiles. These profiles may contain settings for Wi-Fi, VPN, restrictions, or other features.
List provisioning profiles: Lets RETVRN, Inc. see which app signing and enterprise app permissions are installed. This is view-only.
Add/remove provisioning profiles: Allows RETVRN, Inc. to install or remove provisioning profiles. These profiles determine whether certain enterprise apps can run.

List network information: Lets RETVRN, Inc. see information related to network configurations. This is view-only.
List installed applications: Lets RETVRN, Inc. see the list of all apps installed on your device. This is view-only. This allows SHIFT to dynamically block apps instead of just blocking everything on your device.
List restriction information: Lets RETVRN, Inc. see what restrictions are currently applied to your device. This is view-only.
List security information: Lets RETVRN, Inc. see security-related details like whether your device is encrypted, passcode settings, and jailbreak status. This is view-only.
Apply settings: Allows RETVRN, Inc. to apply new settings to your device, such as Wi-Fi connections, VPN access, email accounts, or restriction changes.
Install and remove applications and data: Allows RETVRN, Inc. to remotely install, update, or remove apps. When removing an app, its local app data may also be deleted, but personal files not tied to that app remain untouched.
Location data is a used in both education and enterprise deployments of SHIFT, and is optional for consumers. The location data used is streamed to the server where it is then determined if the device is in a geofence created by the user or organization designated for shifting. There is no location history that is stored nor is the streaming data exposed.
Device Admin permissions on Android are used solely to enforce SHIFT restrictions and prevent users from disabling them while shifted. These permissions grant no access to personal data, messages, or browsing activity. They simply ensure SHIFT can't be bypassed during an active session—nothing more.
No. We also collect 1/1000th of the data that Instagram, TikTok, etc collect. And we only use what little data we need in order to shift the device. In fact, while shifted, the endless (yes, endless) stream of private data (such as front and rear camera use, microphone use, eye tracking) that is being mined from your device (even if the social media apps are closed) is stopped. While shifted, you have more privacy than you've ever had on your iPhone. Put another way, SHIFT collects such little data that if the entire company was hacked, the only personally identifiable information a bad actor could find on our customers...is their email address.
For questions regarding children's data practices or to request data that is stored, email nicholas@retvrn.world.
By using RETVRN Inc. services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all RETVRN Inc. products and services.
Associated with a SHIFT license, RETVRN Inc. collects and stores a user's email and device identifier to facilitate the service of SHIFT. This is the minimum amount of data necessary and it is not sold/acccessed to/by a third party.
With purchase you agree that one license applies to one device, transferable upon removal from the previous device.
To delete the data associated with a SHIFT license, please email nicholas@retvrn.world.
During the SHIFT Process, users tether their device to their computer. During this time the only information collected from the device is a device identifier to associate the device with our services. This identifier is stored for as long as the device is enrolled with the service.
To delete the data associated with the SHIFT process, please email nicholas@retvrn.world.
Why does Stolen Device Protection and Find My need to be disabled to install SHIFT onto my iPhone?
This is a standard Apple requirement - these would need to be disabled in order to make a backup of your iPhone to your computer as well. Both can be re-enabled after SHIFT is installed.
